The CorkSport rear brace for the Mazda 3 and MPS 3 is the result
of many months of product development and testing to provide an
outstanding product. We left nothing to question on the design of
the brace from the end brackets to the quick release pins.
We started with 5mm laser cut steel black powder coated mounting
brackets. These provide a secure and good looking mounting base
for the brace.
The bar is 25mm extruded aluminum which is anodized black with the CorkSport logo laser etched. The bar is large enough to provide
stength but not too large to add excessive weight.
Aircraft grade push button quick release pins are included with the brace. Having the ability
to remove the center bar from the hatch area is important for those
unexpected loads. The quick release pins make removal and
installation a breeze.
The rear brace increases the stiffness of the body to limit chassis
flex. This gives you the driver positive feedback under hard cornering.

This brace only fits hatchback/5 door models. Installation for the
brace takes 2 hours. Trimming the trunk/hatch carpet is required for
installation.
