CorkSport Urethane Exhaust Hangars are made from a precision
machine mould and provide an exact fit replacement for the original
Mazda part.
The stock rubber exhaust hangars allow a certain amount of movement
under normal driving conditions. When you install a performance exhaust
system the clearances from larger exhaust piping and different
production designs give you less room between the car body and the
exhaust system.
Combined with worn stock rubber exhaust hangars you can get a ?bump? or
?thump? from the exhaust system touching the underside of your car
driving down the street hitting pot holes or bumps. Autocrossing or
high performance driving can also result in contact with the exhaust
system and the underside of your Mazda during aggressive steering
maneuvers. Installing the CorkSport exhaust hangars limit the excessive
movement and keeps the exhaust where it should be.
